Dilip Chhabria is an automobile designer based in Mumbai – and working across India, United States and the Middle East. He trained in Transportation Design from the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California, U.S. and worked with General Motors USA in their Design Centre.
He is the founder of DC Design – www.dcdesign.co.in/ – a vehicle design and bespoke customising business. Over the years he has built an organisation of over 400 designers, engineers and highly skilled craftsmen. In a span of 19 years since inception the company has designed and built over 700 concept vehicles.
Famous in India for his contribution to the Bollywood aesthetic, Dilip Chhabria has produced bespoke vehicles for films and celebrities – particularly Shahrukh Khan.
DC Design is known for a prototype of the Aston Martin Vanquish which appeared in the James Bond movie Die Another Day.

DC Design also has a workshop based in Dubai, producing bespoke vehicles to order. A bespoke car is painstakingly built by a select group of automotive artisans to the highest possible standards. Essentially hand made, a bespoke car is made to order and conforms to the tastes of the buyer.
