This course gives you an introduction to specialist visualisation techniques and adaptation of existing ones to communicate the design of complex services and systems. You will deploy a user-centred approach to visualisation as a core capability for industrial design to ensure that a system or service under design is targeted to specific audiences and strategically useful.

Through the use of design thinking methods, service design mappings, and storytelling techniques you will be able to communicate complex ideas and bring meaning to design solutions in a simplified way. At the completion of this course, you will be able to formulate, strategize and visualise design solutions involving a larger ecosystem of infrastructure, stakeholders and user’s needs, processes, features and characteristics of a service or system.
