Ceri Hann is a sessional tutor in the Industrial Design program at RMIT. He also has an ongoing engagement with the School of Art in the Art in Public Space Post-Graduate program. He is currently a PhD candidate in the School of Architecture and Design. The primary focus of his research is the development of practical methods for making philosophical ideas more accessible to students of Art and Design. As a practicing artist he has explored many approaches to thinking through doing, theory manifest through action. Over the years his practice has moved from the use of traditional permanent media and related techniques to more ephemeral transient ways of refining awareness through performance. He often collaborates with Lynda Roberts in a creative partnership known as Public Assembly.
