Currently undertaking a PhD by practice at RMIT University in the school of Architecture and Design, Campbell Drake completed a Masters of Research Architecture at Goldsmiths University and a Bachelor of Architecture at RMIT.
Focusing on architecture, design, contemporary art and social practice, Campbell Drake is a multidisciplinary practitioner who seeks to challenge conventional interpretations of architecture and design through ideas led practice and research. Campbell co-founded Regional Associates in 2010, an architecture practice specialising in unconventional, sustainable design solutions in environmentally sensitive locations. Campbell is member of artists collective Contemporary Site Investigations, a sessional lecturer at the School of Architecture & Design, RMIT University and Monash School of Art Design and Architecture. Campbell has given master classes at the University of South Australia, the Lae Technical University, Papua New Guinea and has lectured at the Technical University of Berlin, Uganda Martyrs University, Uganda and the Architectural Association in London.
