Arthur Georgalas is a graduate of Industrial Design (Honours), which he undertook after graduating from the Associate Degree in Furniture Design with RMIT.

Arthur has great enthusiasm as a designer for emerging technologies in virtual & augmented reality (VR/AR) and how it can be integrated into large scale industrial operations and personal recreational activities.

During my Honours year I joined VicHyper, a student team participating in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. His roles focused on hyperloop visualisation and the creation of virtual reality (VR) experiences to showcase the team’s work. VicHyper achieved a finalist position with honourable mentions and is currently in the ‘start-up stages’ of forming a Hyperloop company facilitated through RMIT Activator.

Arthur’s design expertise concerns Computer-Aided Design and Manufacture (CAD/CAM) and VR where he is commencing postgraduate studies within the School of Engineering at RMIT University

During the last 5 years Arthur has been a co-director and lead designer conducting R&D, designing and selling custom wooden boat plans using CAD and online business platforms.
